Today is 24 of 31 of the #FO5photo challenge, today’s (actually yesterday’s but I’m playing catch up) theme is ‘Guilty Pleasure’.
I try really hard to indulge in this once a week, all in aid of ‘self care’ of course, it doesn’t always work out that way, morning meetings and appointments and ‘stuff to do’ often get in the way, but if I’m lucky, then I get to treat myself to this guilty pleasure………..
Sainsbury Cafe ‘scrambled eggs and bacon’ breakfast with a pot of Earl Grey!
The theme for today is ‘someone you love’.
This was a no brainer for me, my mum of course, she is amazing!
I never knew her like this (taken by her friend before I was born), my earliest memories of my mum were her wearing skinny jeans, a head scarf, stripped shirt tied at the front and cleaning the windows whilst rocking it out to a bit of Meat Loaf………………………. 4 Kids later and almost 60 and she’s still this cool!
This photo was clearly not taken by me, I hadn’t even been considered at this point, never mind conceived! 🙂
The theme for today’s photo challenge is ‘water’.
I’m really rubbish at making sure I drink enough! MrFO5 is well and truly in charge of ‘taking care’ of me when it comes to this! He prepares me a sports drinks bottle each morning which I take everywhere with me and do my best to finish! My sports bottle broke last night so he’s been keeping my glass topped up today until I can get to the shops tomorrow for a replacement!
I don’t really like plain water that much so I add a dash of orange squash………………….
Its day 16 (actually its day 17, I’m blogging in arrears!) the theme is/was ‘morning’. I took this photo yesterday on day 16 so its legit!!
The two things that really make me smile on a Saturday morning are hot buttery toasted fresh bread and my snoozy cat!
The theme for today’s photo challenge is ‘Happiness’. Things are tough here right now, I’m sure it’s the same for many families, the run up to Christmas means anticipation, christmas plays, new school timetables and it can prove too much for many.
I long for the happiness to return. I fear we may have quite a wait though, in reality the only time we’re really free, really happy, and away from the stress and pressures of school with it’s expectations and demands, and the only time we’re really able to relax, is on holiday. It doesn’t matter where we go, or for how long, what matters is the girls know ‘holiday’ means ‘no school’, so it’s the only time they really relax, which means it’s the onlly time we ALL relax.
It’s day 14 of the #FO5photo Challenge, today’s theme is ‘something your reading’, I’m really enjoying seeing so many of you join in. Those of you wondering what it’s all about, it’s about ‘self care’, check out Day 1 for details and then get snapping!
Today MrFO5 had planned a (rare) day off for some Christmas preparations. We took full advantage of the time together though and headed straight to the pub after dropping off the girls at school, all in the name of ‘Self Care’ 😀
I’m too ashamed to tell you what I ordered with the waiter 😉 but the word ‘everything’ was included!
Today’s theme is a very personal one 😀 ‘In your Bag’
The contents of a woman’s handbag should never be judged! 🙂
A button?! And the Chewits have been in there since our Holiday in July!!!
I dare not open the other 2 pockets of my bag!!
